Citizenship Group

Kindly funded by Leeds City Council’s, West North West area committee, the AIM Education Citizenship Academy is a twelve week programme for young people aged 12-14.

droppedimageOnce a week around a dozen students, from a number of schools across West Leeds, attend AIM Education’s facility in Stanningley to partake in the programme.

The Citizenship Academy affords young people the opportunity to recognise the impact they can have in a positive way on their local community. They will collectively design a range of projects that can add value to the areas they live and look at how they are able to deliver the requirements of the project to maximise its effectiveness.

This programme has received full support from the local ward councillors who will be looking to attend at varying intervals to monitor progress.
